Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_5c849670_bcdb8f1e

Ramon: I'm sure I saw that guy at the casino before...
Chris: Oh yeah? I didn't.
Marion: I want him stopped.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_7c8496cb_3cdcc8a3

Chris: Well, as long as you're ok, that's good. Do you want me to leave?
Florence: You can leave when you want, Chris. I don't mind.
Chris: Oh well, in that case then... I'll stay around for a little while. Do you have any idea what restaurant you might want to work for?
Florence: Well, I'm pretty sure Marion wanted to give me a job at one of his restaurants, but like I said, with father acting strangely recently and with no mention of being near Marion, I'm beginning to think that getting a job from him might be hard.
Chris: If you want, I can have a word with Marion too. I'm sure it won't be any harm to him to tell him that I'm dating you, will it?
Florence: No, not if father doesn't have anything to hide between him and Marion...
Chris: Alright, well, when I see Marion, I'll go talk to him, ok?
Florence: Yeah, sure. Thanks.
Chris: In fact I would like to stay around but I think it's best I go now.
Florence: Why? I was just beginning to talk to you.
Chris: I only wanted to come and see if you were ok. I've got work to do remember. You've got my number, and I've got your number, so if you want to call me sometime, please do.
Florence: But you're only going to be at work all the time. It seems recently as if everyone who's ever been close to me is leaving me behind...

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_fc84963d_5cdcd10b

Marion: What!? That bitch! How the FUCK does she plan to do that!?
Isaac: With her right-hand man, Marion. Rocco Mendez.
Marion: THAT BASTARD!?
Isaac: And let's not forget Ivan Zharkov too, The Blackjack's assassin.
Marion: This is crazy.
Isaac: It's up to Chris for what he thinks, but I'm with you on this one. I'll protect you from Luisa Santiago. Don't worry - you won't be killed.

I've seen diamonds cut through harder men, but if you may pretend, you may just meet your end. This isn't just a game of revenge, it's a game of money being tossed. Money, that we take for granted.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_3cde4564

Felix: I take it then that people have been naysaying shit about me following the events at the nightclub...
Rod: Hey, you wasn't there, but you didn't know. Stop thinking about it all the time. It's going to be ok. I'm sure everyone's going to want maximum attention from you now, mind you.
Felix: I suppose. I better find a way to start.
Rod: We start when we're asked too. Not much work is needed on our behalf before these dumb so-called 'cops' who employ us decide to pull the plug or not. We've got to wait, and sit quietly.
Felix: I suppose then it doesn't give us a hell lot to do, hey?
Rod: No.
Felix: (Sighs)
Rod: Our time will come. We'll just do as we're asked. Anyway, I never asked, what did that broad do exactly?
Felix: Stripped down to her skin. No clothes. Believe me, the things that went through my head when she began to untie that dressing gown... damn.
Rod: I wouldn't have missed the oppurtunity, pal. Good luck next time.
Felix: (Sighs) Yeah.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_5cde464e

Ian: Chaps.
Felix: Govenor. Chris.
Rod: Hiya gov. Chris, hey.
Chris: Alright guys?
Ian: Hello. How are you all this morning?
Felix: I'm good thanks Ian, I'm recovering you know.
Ian: Recovering from what?
Rod: The girl he met at the nightclub? Don't you remember me saying that?
Ian: Well I would have thought you had recovered, Felix. You're a cop, that doesn't matter now. What does matter is the work I've assigned you to today. (Laughs)
Felix: (Sighs) Oh, please no.
Ian: It's not right that you're sitting around doing nothing when there's crims out there that should be locked up. Cardenas and co. don't have to be your main priority, not when Luisa Santiago probably already knows the likes of Chris and Isaac are cops.
Chris: That's right, considering I had Rocco Mendez and Ivan Zharkov turn up on my doorstep.
Ian: Exactly. The files Chris and Isaac recieved were letters adressed to every member of The Blackjacks, with their addresses, and I think it's time we started weakening their army before it gets to the point where a war breaks out. This way, it's not going to be so long-lived.
Rod: We've got to get them all?
Ian: Oh no, Rod. One by one.
Felix: So, go on then... who's the lucky guy?
Ian: Richard Dixon. He's a Blackjack gang member, that's all we know. But a rich one though.
Chris: How come?
Ian: He lives on 48 Winstone Way in Junefayre. And I know for sure that people who live down that road are dirty rich beggars since I live not too far away. But unfortunately I can't live on that street because I only get what the government pay me.
Chris, Rod and Felix: (Laughs)

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_fcde461c

Chris: So what's he done wrong to determine that we take him out before anybody else?
Ian: Well, first... let me correct you on that one. You're not going to take him out, you're going to arrest him and bring him here. Beat him a little if he decides to disobey you, but he should give in easily taking into account who he's working for.
Chris: Yes, and why are we taking him and not someone else? Or more to the point, more than just him?
Ian: You're taking Dixon because he's a rich bastard. And working for Santiago I don't think he gets that money from being unemployed. Yes, we ran it through with his records, he's been unemployed since 1965.
Chris: Alright, so... 48 Winstone Way, Junefayre.
Ian: Yeah, just go there, take Rod and Felix with you, knock the bastard around a little, bring him here. Can I explain it more clearly?
Felix: No, I guess.
Ian: Good. Go now. But don't be long.
Rod: If we take too long, come looking for us.
Ian: More than likely.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_3cde71ce

Felix: I hope you know where you're going.
Chris: I know these streets like the back of my hand. Even if they're different as opposed to what I'm used to.
Felix: What do you mean by that?
Chris: Never mind.
Rod: It looks like our luck was short-lived, Felix. Here we are back at work.
Felix: To be honest I didn't expect it to last long. This is Sondon. No mind about Marion Cardenas, Luisa Santiago and all... there's still crime going on everywhere you look.
Chris: Hear, hear! And that's why you're doing it. Isaac and I have got too much on our plate at the minute, that's why it's your job to keep the streets clean.
Rod: What about the traffic cops?
Chris: Them too.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_1cde71b8

Felix: So, you got those files, we know where this guy lives, we're going to thump him and bring him back to the station? Simple as that?
Chris: Simple as that.
Felix: Oh, well... nothing to worry about then, hey Rod?
Rod: I suppose not. But we haven't seen this guy yet.
Felix: As well as being a hard nut he could be as delicate as an old lady.
Rod: Well, no mind about an old lady, he could always be an old man.
Chris: Hmm, Pierre Voclain only retired from the mafia a couple years back, and he's probably on death's door.
Felix: That Vic's Sench half-brother?
Chris: It is... why?
Felix: I was just wondering.
Chris: You should know. You know you should listen to these things Felix, Isaac isn't too pleased with your co-operation at the moment.
Felix: Well that's Isaac for you. He doesn't like me, I know he's never liked me.
Chris: Although Rod, you're growing on him though, he says.
Rod: Oh, marvelous!
Felix: (Grunts)

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_7cde7a6f

Daughter #2: Father!
Richard: Oh, hello girls. Wh...? How did you guys get in?
Chris: Mr. Dixon?
Richard: Yes?
Chris: The door was on the catch...
Richard: I was outside watering the flowers in the back.
Chris: Well, we'd like to have a word with you, please.
Richard: Who are you?
Chris: I'm D.I Chris Osborne of the Sondon Metropolitan Police Department, along with D.S Rod Barker and D.S Felix Tanner.
Richard: What on Alterra do you want with me?
Chris: Like I said Mr. Dixon, a word.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_5cde7bb8

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_5cde7ad6

Chris: So, as you know, it's currently came about that the crime syndicate 'The Blackjacks' have stole money from Marion Cardenas? Surely you would know something about that?
Richard: Well, yeah. Sure. I heard it on the news.
Chris: The trouble is, we discovered a while ago the identities of every member of the gang, Richard... and you was one of those identities we discovered.
Richard: What are you accusing me of... being a gangster? I would never!
Chris: Well, I don't know what you did to get yourself this kind of warm and lovely manor, do you Richard?
Richard: I work as a politician.
Chris: Really?

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_9cde7ba5

Richard: Yeah.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_fcde7b9e

Chris: Well, if that's the case then, Felix... tell him what we know.
Felix: Hmmm...

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_1cde7b47

Chris: Felix!
Felix: Oh, what? Sorry?
Chris: Tell Richard here, what we know.
Felix: He's rich?
Chris: Other than that?
Felix: Uhm, he works with Luisa Santiago?
Richard: I don't!
Chris: No, other than that.
Felix: Oh, uhm... he was unemployed since 1965?
Chris: There you are.
Richard: No! You've got it all wrong!
Chris: You can't earn this kind of cash unemployed for two years, Dixon. You lost. Guys, let's get this prick to the station.
Rod: Sure.
Richard: I will not go anywhere.
Chris: Oh yeah? Well maybe this will make you think again...

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_1cde7dc5

Richard: AGH!
Chris: Rod, Felix. Take it away, chaps...

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_dcde7d48

Richard: AGH! You're getting it all wrong, I FUCKING TELL YOU! THIS IS WRONG!
Rod: Alright, Felix... finish him off!

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_9cde7e40

Richard: GAH!
Felix: Sorry pal.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_bcde7f0a

Richard: Prick.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbaccaf_1cde7ef7

Chris: I think it's time you came with us now, don't you think?

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_7cdf5f7c

Chris: Alright. Start talking... NOW!
Richard: I don't know what you EXACTLY want me to say. You've got no proof of who I am and what I do... you can't waltz right in my home, without my permission... and then beat me to a pulp! That's police brutality!
Ian: I'm the Chief Of Police, Richard... and in my book, that wasn't police brutality at all. They were following my orders. Bring Dixon here, I want to talk to him. If he DISOBEYS you, beat him. And it looks like they did that, insisting that you didn't follow the order.
Richard: What do you want to talk about then!?
Ian: Let's start off with the files.
Richard: Ok.
Ian: My boy here Chris went to an abandoned brewery a couple weeks back, and found those files, or letters more to the point, adressed to every member of Luisa's clan. Why were you one of them?
Richard: I don't know. I honestly don't know why I'm there. This is Sondon, it's a big place. And... and Richard is a common name. Are you sure it's me you're coming for?
Ian: I'm afraid not, Richard. The address was 48 Winstone Road, Junefayre, Sondon. Your records say that you had been unemployed since 1965 of which you were a banker.
Richard: A BANKER. Exactly. That's how I got my wealth.
Chris: (Chuckles) He told us he was a politician...
Richard: (Sighs)
Ian: Oh so... telling lies already are we? Well, this certainly hasn't started off smooth for you has it, Mr Dixon?
Richard: I guess not. Look, I'm sorry I lied to you but... I'm telling you... you've got no proof! There's got to be a mistake with those files!

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_7cde4633

Ian: If that's not enough to stump you, then why not move on to Rocco Mendez shall we? He was saying pleasant things about you while in his cell, Richard. Good things. And it turns out that Rocco Mendez is a member of Santiago's gang, and that says a lot.
Chris: Really?
Ian: Yeah, you remember that. It was in March Chris, just a couple of weeks after Rocco was put in the cell.
Chris: I don't remember that one.
Ian: Oh well, you do now.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_dcdf5f91

Richard: Listen to me, I don't even know Luisa Santiago.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_dcdf5fab

Chris: Tell me Richard, does the name 'Herbert Major' ring any bell to you?
Richard: Nothing but knowing that he was the guy that got killed, the topic that's on everyone's lips at the moment. Yeah, so it does ring a bell.
Chris: Did you ever know Herbert?
Richard: He was a businessman. A good man. He worked in Potter Dolph, the financial...
Chris: Yes! The financial region of Sondon, of which you previously worked in as a BANKER. Not a politician, a BANKER after all. You knew Herbert Major... a friend of yours! It's not looking any good is it? Even if there isn't enough evidence, when we've gathered it all... we will come down on you like a ton of bricks. And it's looking most certain that you're hiding something.
Richard: Alright, alright! I was friends with Herbert, because I worked with Santiago. Only briefly. Well, I still do. But I only keep check of her finances with the experience I have. I've not done anything wrong, trust me. I wouldn't kill a man, not when I've got two daughters. Apart from that, I'm innocent. And you got a confession. And I swear, there is nothing more to that. I just manage Santiago's finances. Herbert recommended I should join the team once Santiago lost the money to Marion Cardenas.
Ian: Wasn't hard, was it? Unfortunately, we've not gathered enough evidence yet to believe everything you've just said, but it's good of you to confess the main thing. So, let's start again. I'll ask you, are you a member of Luisa Santiago's gang?
Richard: Yes.
Chris: Well, then in that case Mr Dixon, we are charging you on suspicion of wrongdoing for the courtesy of one of this city's most wanted criminals. We'll give you a bit of time to contemplate to yourself before we come in and take you down to the cells.
Richard: (Sighs) Ok.
Chris: The door will be LOCKED, so don't think about doing nothing stupid.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_9cdf6535

Richard: Whatever. I'm not the guy you think I am you know.
Ian: Yeah, sure.
Chris: Goodbye, Richard.
Richard: It's Mr. Dixon as it was, please.
Chris: As you wish...

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_bcde46fa

Ian: Well done on that interrogation, Chris. It wasn't star quality, but it wasn't bad at all. That bastard has got nothing on us.
Chris: Hey, I knew he was guilty from the moment I saw him. Nice house, bad temper from the word go. He's in the right place now. Anyway, I'm going to go now, I've got to go see Florence.
Ian: She can wait, Chris. Sorry to rain on your parade but there's more work you should be doing. Now that things are quiet concerning Cardenas, we've got the time to do some work with Santiago's guys. We've got one, and now are you ready to take a whole lot of them?
Chris: You what!?
Ian: Oh yeah, Chris.
Chris: My head's all over the place, I can't do it.
Ian: It's only going to be exactly like the job at the brewery... I mean, there'll be more men to contend with but, these men are different.
Chris: Different?
Ian: Yes, different.
Chris: How different?
Ian: They're all members of Santiago's gang from what we can see but not how you'd think. They're drug addicts.
Chris: Nah, I'm not going out to execute a dozen junkies.
Ian: You don't have to kill them, only if they get feisty on you. Knowing them though, they probably will. You're going to the slums in Saxon, near Old Market. They should be the first to your right as you leave New Market coming off Copperhead Grove.
Chris: Yeah, alright. I'm not too excited about going there, though.
Ian: I didn't expect you too. But it's got to be done. We can't wait for Luisa to make the move on Marion when her guys are still causing hassle on the streets. This work is far below what you'd be expected to do Chris, but someone has got to do it.
Chris: Why can't Felix and Rod do this?

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_3cde4708

Ian: I'm testing you, Chris. I need you good and ready for the outbreak of war.
Chris: Sure, sure. Just as much as Barker and Tanner do likewise.
Ian: Tanner has already been assigned to a small job to take another of Santiago's men in Kimdon who works in a slaughterhouse. Do you think things get much more pleasant for him as well?
Chris: No, I guess not. What about Rod?
Ian: Barker is after Ivan Zharkov.
Chris: (Chuckles) Well I wish him good luck with that one...
Ian: It's only right, Chris. You see, I should have gave you that job, but Rod and Felix have got to prove their worth and again, you've got the wrong end of the stick. They'll be working as hard as you will be, Osborne. So think of them. They'll be right in your shoes. Go. You know the place. If they've got any drugs you can find, bring them to me, we're going to demolish them. Otherwise, clear those slums of every single bastard who threatens you. Best of luck.
Chris: Sure...
Ian: Bye.
Chris: Goodbye.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbae4b7_9cde4d29

Chris: Morning, chaps. Playing a game of chess I see?
Junkie #1: None of your business, man. Get out of here. You don't look like any of us and you're not one of us.
Chris: I was only dropping by and being the usual kind man I am day-by-day.
Junkie #2: Get out of here before I get angry, mister.
Chris: Afraid not, pal. D.I Chris Osborne, Sondon Metropolitan Police Department. I'm not after any of you, I just want to know where the drugs are contained and who's taking them.
Junkie #2: We all take them round here, pal.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbae4b7_3cde4d03

Chris: Yeah, as if I didn't know about that one already... come on then. Everyone up, open your pockets. I want to see what kind of things you've been on. Tic-Tocs, eucalyptus, Freddie's, Glass, maybe even shit, aerosols...
Everyone: (Sighs and tuts)

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbae4b7_5cde4e9c

Junkie #3: (Whispers) Alright... anytime soon we're going to roll.

Junkie #4: Alright...

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbae4b7_fcde4df2

Junkie #2: You can't take me! You don't even know the guy who put it there! Believe me, actors and all kinds of people come here to drop their loads!
Chris: Sure, sure they do. But what have we got here? Tic-Tocs? Lots of Tic-Tocs. Powder too. We can't be having that round here, my friend.
Junkie #2: So what!?
Chris: So what? Possesing drugs is as well wrong, not just dealing them can spell you a long prison sentence... come on.

Junkie #2: I don't know.
Chris: Well I've got the keys, and you're probably too high to know how to hotwire the thing. Good luck if you try to anyway.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbae4b7_fcde51e8

Junkie #5: Hey, you. Open the door! Let him out or I'll blow your brains out with this gun, and we'll take this pretty car of yours too. We might even piss over your corpse.
Chris: Ok, alright. There's no need for that, I'll go let him out.
Junkie #5: Good boy...

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_dcbae4b7_3cde5253

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_dcdf67bd

Chris: Isaac, there you are. Where have you been?
Isaac: Ah, you know. Ian let me settle a few things at home, but I'm good to go know. You look exhausted, what happened?
Chris: Been on the job all the day, first an ex-banker, now a dozen junkies to deal with in the filthy slums of Saxon.
Isaac: Well, I say... you have been busy.
Chris: Too right.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_bcdf67cc

Isaac: Got to get going now, see you.
Chris: Yeah, see you pal.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_5cde7101

Victor: So chaps, did both your jobs go ok?
Felix: The bastard met his match alright. It was tough, but luckily a meat cleaver was on my side, so I got everything settled.
Victor: Oooh, that sounds brutal.
Felix: Fucking fun it was though.
Ian: Brutality isn't supposed to be fun, Felix. I'd be worried.
Felix: I only hacked his leg a little, that put him in pain. If I'd have waited a little longer he would have got me in a meat grinder.
Victor: It's good you're here though, alive and well Felix.
Felix: Who cares?
Victor: We care.
Ian: That bastard is in the interview room ready to be interrogated, Richard Dixon is in his cell, everything's good.
Rod: Apart from my job of course. You was far too optmistic to put me up against him.
Ian: Maybe I was. But at least you tried... knowing that Ivan's probably moved now from that apartment of his.
Victor: I guess so.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_3cde6d6f

Ian: Chris, what took you so long!?
Chris: Ah, well you know. Saxon's a long way from here.
Ian: Chris... I'd thought something bad had happen to you!
Chris: No, it was a piece of cake.
Ian: You see, what did I say? Those junkies should be far too easy to handle for you! What have you got there with you?
Chris: The drugs, ready for you to incinerate I hope.
Ian: Sure, but that's not in my department. Did they take a bit of persuasion?
Chris: Nothing a gun couldn't do.
Ian: Any casualties?
Chris: About six dead, one unconcious and one's in a cell for possesing Tic-Tocs.
Ian: Ah, I see. That's good. At least you didn't kill every guy going.
Chris: No, I didn't.
Victor: Tanner succeeded in his job too, but Barker...
Chris: Barker and Zharkov?
Victor: Yeah, he didn't get him.
Chris: I told you it was too much of an ask, gov. Ivan Zharkov is a very dangerous man and it was wrong to send out Rod on his own too. If Ivan had saw it coming and was armed, Rod wouldn't be here now.
Ian: You've got to take a few risks though.
Chris: I guess. But he didn't succeed.
Ian: I didn't expect him too. So long as he didn't get killed, I would be happy.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_9cde6fc0

Felix: Oh man, why couldn't you get Ivan?
Rod: You know, he's really dangerous. I backed off him.
Felix: Oh, why!?
Rod: Didn't want to risk it.
Felix: You're not going to get the promotion if you do that, will you?
Rod: Well you didn't exactly go the right way about hacking a guy's leg off, did you?
Felix: Hey well he did look tough. I didn't want to be grinded up and end up in someone's burger mistaken for being cattle.
Rod: (Laughs) Or in a sausage...
Felix: Absolutely. The guy was an absolute bastard. Everything ran smooth though. But he annoyed me so much.
Rod: Did he make stupid remarks or something? Bullied you for being what you are, a cop?
Felix: Yeah, that's what he said.
Rod: Sure, same here.
Felix: I guess us cops don't get the reputation we deserve around here...
Rod: You can say that again... (glances at Ian)
Felix: What are you looking at him for?
Rod: Victor told me something previously.
Felix: What's that?

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_7cde6fb6

Rod: Ian's a fraudster.
Felix: Ian McPherson? Chief Of Police? A fraudster?
Rod: He gave Isaac money from a job that both him and Chris did, and he didn't do the sensible thing and give it to the government to handle with.
Felix: Holy plumbob! I would have never thought that!
Rod: Me neither. Anyway, I'm going home.
Felix: Well, I've got to be out soon.
Rod: Out? Again?
Felix: Yeah...
Rod: What for!?
Felix: Uhm... well, I'm on a date actually...
Rod: Oh, are you now...?
Felix: Yeah, sure.
Rod: Not with that chick from the nightclub? The barmaid?
Felix: Oh, definitely not. Fat chance. Never. Oh, kill me! No, she was grotesque! Well no, she was fit but... very scary.
Rod: (Chuckles) Well, good luck with that then...
Felix: Sure, thanks.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c907643_1cde6d5d

Ian: Drop the drugs in my office, and we'll take it from here. Thanks a lot, Chris.
Chris: No problem.
Victor: Cheers Chris, good job.
Chris: Thanks.
Ian: Now Felix...
Felix: Yes?
Ian: It's about time you came with me to interrogate this bastard who's leg you hacked...
Felix: N'awh. Do I have to?
Ian: COURSE YOU DO! You're a cop, this is your priority.
Felix: I was about to go out...
Ian: Well, it can wait.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c84dc14_fcdf7711

Pierre: Chris?
Chris: Ah, Pierre. Is Victor in?
Pierre: No, he's at work... as you should be too. Why do you ask?
Chris: May I come in? This isn't a bad time is it?
Pierre: No, sure not. Come in.
Chris: Thanks Pierre...
Pierre: No problem!

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c84dc14_bcdf773a

Pierre: Just follow me through to the lounge...
Chris: Thank you.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c84dc14_5cdf77e0

Pierre: Well young Christopher, tell me what happened.
Chris: I've been working all day, you know... we set our sights on capturing a few of Santiago's guys today, and it went well for sure. Following a job I did, the guys sent me home, and... when I arrived, my apartment was on fire.
Pierre: Good grief. I'm so sorry...
Chris: Oh no, please. It's ok. I'm ever so sure I left everything secure. The oven was off, not that I use it anyway... I usually get food at the canteen at the police station or get a take away because I can't cook at all...
Pierre: (Chuckles) Oh, Chris. Don't worry about your culinary skills... I was in the same boat as you for a long time... until I learnt the basics, and now I can safely say I can cook a meal to serve more than one.
Chris: Yeah, sure... anyway...
Pierre: (Tuts) I hadn't finished...
Chris: Sorry Pierre, but I'm very unfortunate, don't you think this is more important now?
Pierre: (Sighs) Sure, go ahead...
Chris: And so I'm pretty sure everything was turned off. I'm not that stupid. Do you think it was arson?
Pierre: It depends. Does anyone nasty you know perhaps know where you live?
Chris: Oh, that reminds me... yes there is. You remember Rocco and Ivan who came to my doorstep threatening me?
Pierre: Yeah, Victor told me that one.
Chris: Sure. Yeah, it makes perfect sense. It's probably either Rocco or Ivan.
Pierre: Yeah, that would make sense. They're a nasty piece of work. I remember when Marion and I were good friends, he hired my help to get the money back from her.
Chris: Oh yeah?
Pierre: Yeah. The money was originally Marions, Luisa stole it, then obviously Marion got it back as you know. I gave him the help he required to get it back. This was the last time Marion had that money you know, just before it happened again just recently as I'm sure you're aware of.
Chris: More than aware of. So do you know where Rocco or Ivan could be?

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c84dc14_5cdf781c

Pierre: I hate to be no use to you but no I don't.
Chris: Oh, don't worry about it Pierre. We'll find something, but thanks.
Pierre: No problem. Believe me sunshine, if you ever need anything... I'm retired, I've not got many years left to live, I've got nothing to lose... give me a call!
Chris: (Laughs) Yeah, sure... thanks Pierre. Thanks for all your help recently. You've been a great help to this operation.
Pierre: Willing to help more, once it comes back to me that is. I'm an old man, there's not much I can remember now. I knew a lot about Marion, but I can only now remember the most unforgettable moments. Not neccessarily the most important, and that's unfortunate.
Chris: I know. Well, I hope things get better for that mind of yours.
Pierre: They might.
Chris: What time will Victor be home?
Pierre: I don't know... you probably know more than me.
Chris: Perhaps.
Pierre: It's not age, Chris. He comes back at anytime usually. He should be back for dinner though.
Chris: What time is dinner?
Pierre: About... uhm... 8pm.
Chris: Oh, in that case... I'll go.
Pierre: No, wait! You don't have to go just yet...
Chris: Why?

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c84dc14_5cdf7947

Pierre: Well, where are you going to sleep?
Chris: I'll book into a hotel or something, or go to Isaac's.
Pierre: Isaac?
Chris: My partner.
Pierre: I see, well... you can go there or...
Chris: Or what?
Pierre: You can always stay here... that if it's ok with Victor of course.
Chris: I can?
Pierre: Sure.
Chris: Are you absolutely sure?
Pierre: Yes, Chris. I know what it's like to lose every single possesion of yours.
Chris: Oh don't worry, I've still got my car.
Pierre: Oh, you have?
Chris: Yeah! (Laughs)
Pierre: (Chuckles) Oh of course! (Coughs)
Chris: Oh, are you alright?
Pierre: Sure, just don't make me laugh too much... it doesn't do too good to my lungs. (Coughs)
Chris: Woops, sorry.
Pierre: No problem, I'll be alright.
Chris: Well, thanks for letting me stay. You man... you my man, you're a star.
Pierre: Oh well, thank you. It's not often I get called that nowadays.
Chris: So, I'll sleep in my car outside then if that's ok with you?

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c84dc14_9cdf77fe

Pierre: Oh no, you don't have to sleep outside.
Chris: No, I insist. You don't need the hassle.
Pierre: Oh, nonsense. Stop being so soft on me, Chris. I've got a spare bedroom for you and you can stay for absolutely as long as you like until you get things sorted again.
Chris: Oh no, I don't want to be giving you trouble.
Pierre: You won't! You can honestly stay as long as you like... Victor speaks of you all the time, you're a good man. You won't cause any harm at all, I know of it.
Chris: Thanks Pierre. I do owe it to you, honestly.
Pierre: No need. He'll be back soon, it'll be a nice surprise for him I'm sure.
Chris: I hope not... (chuckles)
Pierre: Oh, don't make me laugh son! (coughs)
Chris: Sorry.

Episode Seven (7), Part One (1) Snapshot_9c84dc14_bcdf77ce

Pierre: I'll go prepare dinner.
Chris: Alright.
Pierre: And you're getting some too. I hope you like spaghetti!
Chris: No, please. I'm ok.
Pierre: I insist. You will be eating with us tonight and that's an end of it. You've suffered enough.
Chris: Thanks again, Pierre.
Pierre: Oh, give over.
Chris: (Chuckles)
Pierre: Keep an eye out for Victor!
Chris: I will.
